It is super cold today but we went on our Sunday adventure anyway. As always we started in the dark and walked to the “dog park”, had a lot of fun in the dark and then slowly walked back. We love these Sunday morning walks when we can pretend we are the only ones alive here. So peaceful.
Before I moved here in 2005 I used to live on the country side. My kitchen window was facing east. There was a giant field, old trees and 2 old farm houses between me an the horizon. I can’t tell how often I was sitting in my kitchen by the window with my first cup of coffee watching the sunrise. Here I can’t see the horizon, just buildings, most of them fugly and soulless. Gods, I miss the countryside so much.
We got up very early today (6 am) and where out for an early walkie before 7. It was still pitch black outside, nobody else was around. It had a bit of a Sleepy Hollow vibe, just right for Halloween.
