These shrooms totally ignore the fact that this is not the forest or some shady meadows. They don’t care that this is the city and they are standing right between a busy street and a bike lane. I actually totally risk my bones for this photo because the cyclists around here are super rude.
There is that really ancient willow right beside the trail we often walk. Twice a year, every year, in spring and in fall, tons of these small mushrooms grow in it’s trunk. It’s like they want to make the change of the season.
