There is this tiny overgrown trail behind the university. It’s a bit like you walk between two worlds. On the one side the buildings of the university and the other side the nature preserve. The university tries to block this path but all the blocks are being refused. The public is using that path since more than 10 years, so it’s what we call “Gewohnheitsrecht” (roughly translates to law of habit).
Usually this field is covered my 8 feet tall reed. Last fall they cut it all down for whatever reason (this is nature preserve, everything has to remain untouched) but I’m sure it will all be back soon. After all it’s home to a lot of creatures, including rare birds and deer.
Yesterdays snow lasted till noon, then all the beauty was gone. I know, a lot of people from the US will probably tell me I lost all my marbles, but I really would love lots of snow during the entire winter. Maybe you guys just send it my way next winter. Have a pawtastic day, stay safe and warm.
This is what we woke up to this morning. Ya, winter ignored us during it’s entire season and now, during the first days of spring, it drops by just to screw things over. But it still looks very pretty. Stay save and warm everybody and have a pawsome day.
There are new graffiti up. I believe they switch ones a month so that all interested kids get the chance to put their art on the school walls. These kids are very young and some of them are really talented.
