I haven’t posted since May but we didn’t go anywhere. So let’s catch up a little bit. What you see here is our weather since the beginning of July. Rain, every day, the entire month and August keeps it going. Don’t get me wrong now. I’m not complaining. I’m actually glad about the rain since Mother Nature really needs it. And we are blessed to live in an area where the weather is not threatening. From the news I’ve learned that Arizona, Phoenix and Texas are melting, China is drowning and Canada is burning, along with parts of south Europe. I’m so sorry for all the people who are suffering from the weather, especially when they lose their homes to fire or water. Meanwhile I was hoping that Russia would crumble to dust or so, but that ain’t gonna happen so fast, does it? So no, I’m not complaining about our rain. And hey, it’s summer rain. Warm, pleasant temps and all the plants are exploding with life. And don’t even get me started about all the energy I’m saving because I do not need the AC.
My closest friend started to work for a local hospice. It’s owned by the church but runs on donations only. So every December they do a charity sale. People can donate crafted items for that sale and so I got busy. Made 3 small baskets, a set of coasters and one of these cute Tempo Pouches. Will do more pouches, some key chains and socks too. I will update the crafting pages with finished items as I go. I truly love crafting but doing it for a good cause is even more fun.
So what else is going on? Finally got a new desk chair. The old one was falling apart and after being stubborn for almost a year (what? I can still sit on it, right?) I gave in and got this new one. No fancy gaming chair this time, I wanted something really comfy and good for my back. And it worked, my back is much better. The blog is going into it’s 3rd year now and I’m not gonna stop anytime soon. It’s way to much fun.
