“Zum Drögen Hasen” was est. in 1848 by a guy named Gerd Bruns. The original name of this inn was “Krug- und Schankwirtschaft im Brunschen Hause zu Wechloy”. Ya, the had to change that name for sure. Nowadays it still serves as an inn and popular event location. If you google “Drögen Hasen” you will find a lot of very old fotos.
Sunday early morning on our way to the local “dog park”. It became a ritual to us over the summer to roll outta bed very early just to get to that place early enough to have it to our self. This is even more important than my first coffee of the day. That has to way til afterwards. ^..^
