Last Hydrangea

These are for sure the last hydrangea for this summer. Fall arrived rather sudden with chill temps and lots of rain. If we forget for a moment all the shit that is going down on our beautiful planet at the moment, it was a wonderful summer 2022. Thank you!

Hibiscus

The Hibiscus finds a lot of use in folk medicine. It is rich in Vitamin C and the tea made from it’s blossoms is used to treat ailments, like colds, high blood pressure and eczema.

Arum

The only of it’s kind in our area. This one is hiding in a small kinda semi hidden front yard overgrown with all sorts of plants. Poisonous Plant of the Year 2019. Caution: even just touching it can lead to skin irritations, letting alone eating the berries. Best is to leave it alone and admire it from afar.
