The Evening Primrose (Nachtkerze in German) actually originates in the USA. In the 17th Century this plant made it’s way to Europe. Nowadays you can find it all over the place. So thank you America for this beautiful flower.
This one is the only one of it’s kind in our neighborhood. Sorry for the ugly background, but I didn’t want to walk on their yard without permission. This was kinda borderline already. I was leaning far over their fence to capture this picture. Hopefully nobody saw me. *giggle*
Fun fact, there is no Wiki about the Large Bindweed (Wald-Zaunwinde in German). Here people consider it as pest plant. Why? Only because it has no obvious use for the humans? I think it’s a very beautiful plant.
