Monday is Canceled

Remember last weeks Monday? I had to spend 160 bucks on a locksmith to get back into my home. On Sunday I was over it, sorta, but then came this weeks Monday. I woke up feeling like I’ve been hit by at least 2 trucks. Monday morning always is grocery time, to I pulled myself together, got up and dressed. Got a coffee and expected to feel better but nope. I ended up texting T. and tell her that I would not be able to join her. Then I went back to bed. Last time I had a cold was about 10 years ago. I do not get sick often. So I was kinda thinking that it would be done and over with the next day but nope. Wednesday I was still feeling like crap and T. asked if I would like to test for Covid so we would know at least with what we are dealing with. I do not like to guess when it comes to medical issues, so I was all for it. I never had Covid (the blessing when you avoid people in general) so it was a first for me and I never got vaccinated (I’m old enough to remember Contergan). You bet, it lit up like a christmas tree on steroids. I’m almost certain I picked it up from that guy at the supermarket checkout who was sneezing all over the place. Seriously, I don’t get it why the supermarkets do not send their sick employees home.

Today is Friday and I’m still not good. It’s not like a typical flu for me but it isn’t less annoying. Everything hurts, even my eyes, and I feel very fatigue. At the same time I can not sleep during the night for some strange reason which doesn’t help. But chicken soup works wonders. Needs to be the one is lots of noodles in it, tho.

Now the next Monday is creeping up and I’m not having it. It’s canceled. Period.
